Roae to Host Six Property Tax/Rent Rebate Clinics

February 21, 2025

MEADVILLE - Rep. Brad Roae (R-Crawford/Erie) will be hosting six Property Tax/Rent Rebate clinics throughout the 6th Legislative District in order to assist people with completing their applications.

The program is open to those 65 years and older; widows and widowers 50 years and older; and people with disabilities 18 years and older. Income limits increased again this year to $46,520 for both homeowners and renters. This is due to a 2023 law I supported that calls for adjusting the income limit based on annual increases in the Consumer Price Index. Remember to exclude 50% of Social Security when determining your income. The maximum rebate is $1,000.

“Taking advantage of the property tax/rent rebate program helps keep money in our senior citizens’ pockets,” Roae said. “I hope to see you at one of our upcoming clinics to ensure you are getting the relief you deserve.”

The clinic dates are:
Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 10-11:30 a.m. at Bair Senior Center, 237 S. Pymatuning St., Linesville.
Friday, Feb. 28, from noon to 2 p.m. at Shontz Memorial Library, 145 S. Second St., Conneaut Lake.
Monday, March 3, from 9-11 a.m. at Stone Memorial Library, 1101 Main St., Conneautville.
Monday, March 3, from 1-3 p.m. at Albion Senior Center, 9 Academy St., Albion.
Wednesday, March 5, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Cochranton Area Public Library, 107 W. Pine St., Cochranton.
Friday, March 7, from 1-3 p.m. at Meadville Public Library, 848 N. Main St., Meadville.
